Heartland Payment Systems Computer Breach
Puts Users of Visa and MasterCard at Risk Nationwide

A computer breach at Heartland Payment Systems has put a large number of credit card account numbers at risk nationwide, including members at GeoVista Credit Union using the GeoVista Credit Union Visa Credit Card and Visa Check Card.

Heartland is continuing to provide data to GeoVista Credit Union on account numbers that have been compromised in the data breach. If we identify your GeoVista Card number, your card will be blocked and a new card will be issued. We will also issue you a letter with more details.

GeoVista’s Computers were not compromised.  The access did not involve GeoVista’s computer systems.

Your personal and account information on file at GeoVista was not compromised.

Heartland Payment Systems provides transaction data service for many restaurants and retailers nationwide. The criminals gained access to the data on Heartland’s systems – not at GeoVista Credit Union.
