Text Message "Smishing" Scam Alert

We have reports of members receiving text messages supposedly from GeoVista Credit Union. This is a scam. Do not respond to text messages concerning your account or Visa Debit or Credit Cards. We will never request personal information by email or text message. If you have inadvertently responded, please contact us immediately

"Smishing" is a text message sent to your cell phone or other mobile device with some ploy to click on a link or contact an email address. This link causes a Trojan virus to be installed on your cell phone or other device.
