Annual Membership Meeting

 We plan to hold our Annual Membership Meeting in-person on February 22, 2023.

It is never too early to plan for your retirement. An IRA (individual retirement account) could be an important part of your plan! We offer different types of IRA accounts, depending on what your specific financial needs are.

Traditional IRAs give you immediate tax benefits and Roth IRAs give you the possibility of tax-free earnings on the IRA later. Speak with your tax preparer to determine which type of IRA is most beneficial for you.

You can contribute to a traditional IRA and a Roth IRA in the same year. If you qualify for both types, make sure your combined contribution amount does not exceed the annual limit. You can also contribute to a traditional IRA and a 401(k) in the same year.

Halloween Blood Drives

On October 31^st, we held blood drives, in partnership with Red Cross, at our Hinesville and Richmond Hill locations. 

We collected 32 pints of much needed blood for our community. Look for more of these events next year!  #geovistagives

Car Maintenance – Where is my Spare?

Of course, we all know how inconvenient changing a tire can be, especially if it is one of the unplanned occurrences in the middle of nowhere.  Once we have a flat, we go into immediate action: get out of the roadway, turn on the hazard lights, engage the emergency break and put the car into park. 

When is the last time you really looked at your tires?

Be proactive:

·        Rotate tires when you do an oil change

·        Check your tire pressure regularly

·        Measure the tread

·        Know where your spare and tools are located

·        Have your roadside assistance number stored in your glove compartment
