Overdraft Coverage Options

Overdraft Protection


Your checking account is linked to your Savings Account and if needed, money is transferred to pay an overdraft with a $5 fee per transaction.


Your checking account can be linked to a Line of Credit Loan (subject to credit approval) and if needed, money is transferred to pay an overdraft with a $5 fee per transaction with a minimum transfer of $50


Overdraft Standard Privilege


Allows you to overdraw your account up the disclosed limit in order to pay a transaction for a fee up to $29. Even if you have overdraft protection, overdraft privilege is still available if the other protection source is exhausted.


Overdraft Standard Privilege is not a line of credit; it is a discretionary overdraft service that can be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.


Standard Coverage covers Checks, Online Bill Payments, recurring Debit Card and ACH (automatic debits) No action is required on your part. Please review the "What You Need to Know" and "What Else You Should Know". You can discontinue the Overdraft Privilege in its entirety by contacting us at 912-368-2205.


Overdraft Extended Coverage


If you give your consent for Extended Coverage, ATM withdrawals and everyday Debit Card transactions will be included with the transactions listed under Standard Coverage. Transactions maybe declined without Extended Coverage.


Requesting Extended Coverage

Unauthorized Debit


Your Debit Card could be suspended because you exceeded your limit or did not give us authorization to pay ATM and Debit Card transactions. You will need to contact GeoVista at 912-368-2205. Once you contact GeoVista and have a positive balance in your account, your card should be reactivated. A $10 fee is assessed to reactivate your Debit Card.
